According to Gmail, your timezone is 7 hours behind GMT, while the other
sender is 5 and a half hours ahead of GMT, so there is a difference of 12
and half hours between you and the sender. The message was sent at 12:10
pm, in the timezone of the sender. For you it was 12 and a half hours
earlier, that is Friday 11:40 pm. Since you saw this today, Alpine told
you that the message was sent when it was Friday for you, that is, it was
yesterday.
