Displaying HTML with images

Most of the gui browsers seems to have little trouble displaying html pages
that include a number of image files, that are sourced in the main html
file.

Pine seems to behave differently: It splits the main html file, and the
image files that go with it into separate attachments. YOu can view one
file at a time, but not easily the html file and images, the way it was
intended to appear.

Sometimes the image files (in pine) include the path, the html file is
expecting, sometimes not. Aften the image files do not have the jpeg or
similar extension, but are named the way the original html file names them.

I would like a strategy for displaying an html files and its images,
without a lot of extra work. Any suggestions?

A present, I extract the main file and images to a directory, inspect the
mail html code for where it expects to find images, and sometimes must
rename the image files a bit. This does not happen in a snap.

Thanks for any suggestions.
