Re: merge 2 IMAP folders into my INBOX

Yes, I keep both sets of email separate at the office. Unix mail for
system alerts and such, and Windows mail for regular commuincations and
meetings. I could forward my Unix email to Windows, but my heart won't
let me; Unix is faster and more reliable. I can't forward Windows email
to Unix because I wouldn't be able to accept Outlook meeting notices (I
either accept those meetings via the web interface or the Outlook client
on my Windows workstation...yes, it pains me every time I do that).

If I'm in my Windows IMAP, I get alerts that new Unix mail (in my primary
INBOX folder) has arrived. But when in Unix, I don't get alerts that
Windows mail has arrived until I hit 'tab'. It's mildly annoying and I
constantly switch between folders to check email. However, I like having
the ability to save all my sent-mail in one folder.

It would be pretty neat if pine could open 2 (or more) IMAP folders on one
screen, and apply sorting and grouping rules to both. And perhaps color
code each message based on the folder it came from.

Thanks for your reply. What I'm doing now is workable, but at least I can
stop racking my brain trying to find a better way.
