My mac is an iMac OSX3.9. Eudora is 6.2.4.

SOMEtimes, when someone sends me a WMV attachment, when I double-click
to see the message, Eudora quits, without a 'crash' message or any other
note or warning. If I have viewed other messages before the 'crash',
when I re-start Eudora the message I viewed before attempting to view
the WMV message are back again, unread. As if I'm starting all over
again. Interestingly enough - if I have transferred a message to a
mailbox before the 'crash', it remains and still, I get another copy of
the message when I restart Eudora. NOTE: only Eudora quits.

When I go to the attachments folder I created on my desktop I will find
the WMV file (as it should be). When I double-click on WMV icon I get a
blink but it doesn't open. If I then go to the HD/applications/WMV and
drag the received WMV icon onto the WMV application icon -- it opens.

BTW - I have v.9 of WMV and Flip4Mac WMV v.2.0.2.10.

This is 100% a Flip4Mac issue. Been there, done that, paid the price.

I'm at 2.2.1.11 with no problems, and I see that 2.2.3.7 is out and
ready for update.

Thanks. I'll upgrade, hope it's a fix. BTW - does one need both WMV and
Flip4Mac, or does Flip4Mac take over???
