Fear not schisms, Robert, for where there is more than one, there
be the great God Enumerable, which encompasseth all.
Thanks to Ruby, 'better red than dead' has acquired a whole new

statement or implication in the two emails you cite. You obviously
missed my early email DEFENDING the value of Islamic culture. I am in no
way anti-Islam, nor do I detect any such sentiment in Robert.
The emails to which you are responding are strictly humor, which does
appear fairly often on this list. The reference to the Koran as a "fake"
was in quotes, which means that it isn't the speakers words. Asserting
the Pickax book (do you know what that is?) to be one of the "real holy"
books is obviously absurd, and is your clue that this is a piece of
humor. My response was a continuation of the humor.
There's no bigotry here. I personally would never support such, at all.
You misunderstood completely, believe me.
Lighten up. There's a saying in Buddhism, which I've always liked:
"Laughter is the language of the gods."
