Jagex, developer of the free Java-based MMO RuneScape, has appointed a former European PayPal CEO as head of the company.

Geoff Iddison will now be CEO of Jagex, as the developer aims to
quickly expand on an international level. Iddison was CEO of the eBay-
owned PayPal Europe since 2003.
RuneScape, which offers both free and paid subscription accounts,
currently has over 6 million regular users globally, according to
Jagex.
Iddison replaces Constant Tedder, who will remain on the Jagex board
of directors.
