Ignoring that good advice and continuing with speculation ...
Often there's a difference between specifying a font family name with the
bold attribute, and directly selecting a bold font. If possible, get the
developer to select a real, bold font with no attributes (such as bold)
that FM might misinterpret.
Don't forget, some of the comments about fonts
are (as yet) in the nature of well informed
speculation
Yes, some of the comments are well informed speculation. However, beware of
overgeneralizing. I do not claim that my speculation is well informed.
