Re: Printing directly to PS printer?



For anyone that is following this thread, that PrintFile utility did
exactly what I needed it to do and its no longer $30, its now FREE.

One thing I did was print to file once so I could see the headers that
got added to the postscript data stream by the printer driver
dialog...and that makes it easy enough to see the actual text I would
need to add to a so called "prolog" file if I wanted to. But pretty
much I was able to just select my file, print it, and I was prompted
with the normal print dialog for my printer, where I tried duplex
printing and changing the dpi, etc.. Seemed to do what its supposed
to. It does a lot more stuff too, like N-up printing, but my printer
can do that automatically too.
