Re: Ghostview (latest version) won't work

None of you are making much sense. Why would someone knowingly provide
me with a nonfunctional file? There is no rational motive for such an
act. Therefore I must conclude that they expect me to be able to view
the file with some tool or another. I also doubt they would assume I
had an expensive product, or would be willing to pay for it just to
view their file, so logically they must have expected me to be able to
view the file with a *free* tool.

Yet none of you know of such a tool? Not one?

Instead, you seem to believe that someone would go to the trouble of
supplying me with, how did you put it, a "floppy disk sliced in half",
without somehow noticing that it had a problem. I find that far more
difficult to believe than that for some reason it's simply a pseudo-EPS
requiring sufficiently obscure tools to view that none of you know of
it. After all, the former would require malice and the latter merely
incompetence, and as the old saying goes, never attribute to malice
what can be attributed to sheer incompetence...
