I'm using the K2400 for quite long now and it is easy to program...
You surely have the documentation. There you will find all commands to
control the sourcemeter. Just send the command to the meter and get the
answer. I'm using (old style) GPIB commands for this, but VISA will
also do.

Other option: check the instrument driver library at the NI webpage! (Developer Zone -> Instrument Driver Network).
