I'm very interested in this. I'm looking for ValForth for the Atari 8bit
for at least 10 years now. Please let us know what you find.
I know that one good paint program, RAMBrandt, was written in ValForth.
From all I've heard it must be a very impressive Forth for the Atari 8bit.
If you like to restart Forth programming on the A8, please consider
joining the volksForth team --> volksforth.sf.net

Carsten,
Yes, ValForth was/is an impressive body of work.
Your work on volksForth is also due more recognition. I only wish the
manual for volksForth was already translated from German. I tried
using some of free translation pages on the net, but got mostly badly
mangled phrases and humorous nonsense.
What kind of help is needed for volksForth (other than the manual
translation) ?
.
