You can use a plain ol' flat file (text file) or an INI file for saving the
data. You can search the web or groups.google or PlanetSourceCode.com for
various encryption algorithms or use of the CryptoAPI's (AllAPI.net's free
API Guide should have a sample of the CryptoAPI's).

Hi All,
I am in the process of writing a program that will automate the logon
to the systems I use at work. It was all going smoothly until I tried
to work out a way of storing the values that the user puts into the
textboxes for the passwords. Preferably I would like to do this
without using an external database or the registry for security
reasons, however if that is not possible any suggestions would be
welcome.
Any ideas anybody?
Many Thanks,
Mark
