Based on what I have seen in many businesses over the years, macros in Excel
will be running for quite some time yet. There is an absolute ton of stuff, much
of it home made, written in Excel macros, and it is "mission critical" stuff,
Written to be used as a one off and subsequently immortalized and
eventually
"mission critical". Never could find another secretary who could
figure out
how to fix that Excel Macro. We really only need 5 reports but the
thing
is hard coded for 7. Just print the whole thing, toss out pages 3 and
5 and
repaginate the damned thing with a crayon.
as the marketing types like to say.Marketing Types!!! Darwin where the F$%^ are you????
While MS can ignore the VB6 programmers, there are CEO's and Regional Managers
and the like who just gotta have their little Excel macros. They would fry Bill
Gates in a pool of melted Office CDs if he ever took them away - or claimed that
some lame Wizard would upgrade them effectively.
Terrible image of wrinkled old fart of a wizard pissing all over my
hand crafted
Excel Macros. HAHAHA You call that a user interface? I show you a
user
interface... splash splash splash...
LMAO, Neila
