Maybe I can answer my one of my own questions
by comparing the activity between the two NGs..
* comp.lang.basic.visual.misc = avg 15 posts/day
* microsoft.public.dotnet.languages.vb = avg 50 posts/day
Going by the above figure, it appears that a majority have
made the switch.
Remember that VB.NET is being used as a teaching language
- you might find that most of the .NET posts are trivial
Certainly a lot of the .NET posts that land up here certainly don't
look as if they come from professional developers.
