Re: How do you disable Restore button?

Also, with 19" monitors I am operating at high resolution at
1280 x 1024. But I can read everything just fine and the bigger
resolutions don't look very good on 19" when I was testing them.

I'm not sure if you already know this stuff Rick (just ignore me if you do!), but if they are flat panel (TFT) monitors then you need to make sure you are running them at their "native" resolution. Check the manual and it should tell you what that resolution is. Running at either above or below the hardware resoluition can result in an "iffy" display. When running at the native resolution each "software pixel" will exactly correspond to a monitor "hardware pixel". This can make a very great difference to how well the characters (and other things) are displayed (it only applies to TFT monitors though, not CRT monitors). Another thing to check on TFT monitors is whether or not they have a digital input. If they do (and if your graphics card has a digital output) then you will get a very much cleaner display if you use it in that mode. Also, another thing to check (which is actually more of a problem on a CRT rather than a TFT monitor) is whether your system is set to "smooth edges of screen fonts". Some people find "smoothed fonts" to be very hard on the eye (they look very "fuzzy" to me) whereas others find them okay. So try switching your system between "smoothed screen fonts" and "standard unsmoothed fonts" and see which you personally prefer.
