Default e-mail & browser

It's me again.
Does anyone know how to extract the default e-mail & browser from the
Registry?
I've written a Desktop control panel, and I thought that it would be
useful if the user had the capability to just go to the Internet or get
their e-mail.
Anyway, any ideas?
Marshall

PS This is in VB6.
