To the three who tried to help my apologies for replying via email. My
excuse is that I am a newbie.
To repeat what I said : QBasic does not work with this program which was
written in 1986 using a version
of Basic which uses numbered lines.As you know QBasic does not. (Or does it
?)

Would some kind person help me solve a problem?
I recently bought a book and CD on "Climate Modelling".
Some of the programs on the CD are in Microsoft BASIC which I dont have.
Could someone tell me what I need by way of compiler
and/or interpreter to run these programs and where I
can get them.
I have a PC with Windows 98(2ndEd).
