Re: Anoying bug in DVD Movie Factory 5????? Anyone else notice it?

Did you install the patches available at ulead? Think they
were available within 1 or 2 weeks.....

Let's say you want to create a DVD using a video file you captured.
You import the video file into the timeline. Then say that you don't
want the DVD to start at the beginning of that clip, so you go to the
desired starting point, then you CLICK ON THE LEFT BRACKET to make
that point the beginning of the clip. Same for the ending. Then if
you have just the one scene, you click on NEXT to go to the preview
(no menus created, go right to the preview of finished product).

When you click PLAY, the bug rears it's ugly head. The first few
frames played ( and in the finished product) are NOT where you
selected the starting point above, but at the beginning of the clip,
not where you wanted it to start.

Sometimes you get two of the first fames, sometimes just one,and they
last for just a few frames each, but enough to drive you up the wall
trying to eleminate them.

Anyone found a way to correct this bug (undocumented feature) or how
you can get rid of this (other than pe-editing the video file before
even importing it into DVD MF5 (kinda makes it a waste of money then).

Any help/suggestions on how to fix this? I may have to go back to
version 3 if this can't be fixed.
