Let's say I have a photo of a "wilderness" area that doesn't have much
wilderness. I have some forestry areas, that are a lovely shade of
green, but I have some open pasture areas area drab brown and a little
magenta. This photo is an aerial photo of a project I'm working on, but
the photo looks, in a word, "ugly". I want to make the desert/pasture
areas more green, but I'm having a problem getting the desired effect.
I have tried levels, to try to make it the photo more green.
I have tried curvers to try to make it more green.
Both techniques haven't been able to do exactly what I'm looking for.
Considering the photo is 400 megs and 1 foot pixels, it's hard to work
with, but i got a little time before deadline. The resolution of the
photo is perfect for me.
Any ideas out there?
you may prefer to work with selective color in the adjustment menu
or select specific areas with a lasso feathered and then adjust each area
separately (if you didn't try that first)
.
