Most notebooks have some way of simulating the numeric keypad. I think mine
is fairly standard. It has a "NumLock" key and a Function Key. Press
NumLock and release it to set Numeric Lock, and hold down the "Fn" key (and
the alt key) while typing the numbers, you get the equivalent of the
numeric key pad.
