I at all,
I am making my first true work using Page maker 6.5.
It is a little newspaper of 4 pages A3 vertical(297mm. x 420mm.)
I maked 6 columns and a left and right margin of 10 mm. and a top and bottom
margin of 15 mm.
The main article is on the firts page and I placed it into the full 6
columns one per one and the height of the text arrive at the middle of the
page.
Into the text I want to insert an image that is a map of our city.
This image is height 2/3 of the text and large 3 columns.
Problem is that now I have the first and 2th colums that start at the very
top still the middle of the paper.
The 3th colum start under the image ilike the 4th and 5th and the 6th start
at the very top and not arrive at the middle of the paper like others.
To equalize the columns I used the plug-in but now all columns start at the
very top also where there is the map and the text it is under the map.
I tryed any thing (O use also the function to put the text around the image)
but I cannot equalize automatically the height of text columns and to
insert at the some time the map.
How can I do please?

Don't bother using the plug-in to equalise the columns.

Instead do it manually ...

- Put a ruler guide line at the top where you want the
text in the longest columns to start.

- Move all the text blocks / frames to start from that
guide line.

- Use the Arrow tool and click on the Image (you may
need to first move the text block behind the image) and
set the Text Wrap option so that it wraps the text in
that column(s) to below the image.

- Still using the Arrow tool, click on the first text
block / frame and use the handle at the bottom-middle
to shrink or extend it's height - as long as all the
text blocks / frames for that story are linked, the
text will reflow by itself.

- Do that for each text block / frame until they line up
how you want them to. It will probably take a bit of
playing to get it right.
