Actually, I "WISHED" that my problems were like that, cuz at least it would be something NEW all the time.
That thread that you just posted doesn't die, because people are actually USING the thread.
MY problem is that, there are NO NEW POSTINGS and this thread is already greyed out,
the way it looks after you've already read the thread!
It's problem is, that it still stay showing up, even though there are no new postings to the thread!
It's already been read!
Arrrhhggg!!!
It's been marked as Read, STILLL there!
Normally, once I've read a thread and there are no new posts, then the next time I come into the newsgroup,
then the thread is gone and no longer shows up, UNLESS someone adds to the thread, which is what they keep
doing in that thread you pointed out, mine hasn't had anything added to it or anything and it never goes away!
Arrrhhhhgggg!!!!! LOL LOL LOL
So it always shows a grey thread, which also could mean that someone HAS added
something new to it, just at the end somewhere as the first starting posts of the thread
will still be greyed out, but show up, as long as someone has added to the thread.
No one hs added anything to it in ages and ages.
I know, I probably just need to unsubscribe to the newsgroup and then resubscribe to it again, but then I have to start
over and try and find the current threads I'm already reading and following and all that nonsense and it's a pain to do that.
So.... I guess I'm stuck with the, let me word this even better, "the GHOSTED thread and that wouldn't die" LOL
