Hi Iain,
I was just on the verge of writing to Newtek tech support about this. This
has been happening to me occasionally since 8.3 I think, but since upgrading
to 8.5 it's happening literally all the time. The amount of times I have
edited an image in Pshop, re-imported it in LW, then hit F9, wandered off to
get a drink, come back and found that it has changed the images round in
several of my col/bump maps. It means that every time I re-import an image I
have to double check all the textures.
As Jim says, the only thing is to quit and start Lightwave again. Maybe we
need to delete the prefs and create new ones?

Does anyone else have this problem...
I have a scene with lots of image maps, say im modelling a book, with a
different image on each page...I load the image maps in as I need them,
building the scene up, then (with no warning) I'll bring my next image in,
and one of my texture maps (or several) switch which image I applied to
it. It seems totally random which ones get affected. I've noticed this for
ages now, and have kinda got used to it, so I make sure I check each one
before setting off the big render...BUT....recently it affected a bump
map, it just switched which targa it was referencing, and I didn't notice
til after the render, so it cost me a load of time, so I just wondered if
anyone else gets this. Its happened on several versions of LW too. Its a
pain is da @ss!
Iain
