Hi Mark,
Well I spoke a bit too soon. One minute you're up the next... :) The remote node refuses point blank to look for any images on the share. It is still looking for them on the hard disc of the host machine.
I have checked my content structure, re-imported all the plugin folders, checked the content directory etc. etc.
The remote node finds the objects correctly via the share, deposits the output file correctly - via the share but will not attempt to get the image maps from the share. Because it says that it cannot find the image on c:\xxx\xxx\xxxx and not \\sr1\screamernet\xxx.tif I am not sure it is a loader plugin issue.
Well, I am spending more time on this that it will save me! I will go and try amending a new LWEXT.cfg file doing a search and replace rather than importing plugins.
Thanks for your idea for converting frames - thanks to Jim too with the QT tip. I will give them a try.
Steve

Now all I need (and this if going to make you lot smile!) is a cheap/free application to turn those frames into an animation. I don't actually have anything like Premier that will actually do that! :)
First off, awesome! for you!
I can't wait to set mine up, so I'm keeping this thread open for myself to read this weekend.
Anyway, as for the frames into animation, just do what I always do.
Every time I make frames, I just load them into Layout as a Frames Sequence.
Load the first image of the set into the Image Editor and set the option, Image Type, to Sequence.
It'll automatically, suddenly show exactly how many frames there are, which is good to verify too.
Then just set that as your Composit Background image. ( sometimes hit F9, just to make sure it works)
(and you may also need to change your Camera size to match the frame's size,i.e. 640x default to 720x)
Then choose which ever format you want to save your animation out to under the Render Options.
How ever many Codecs you have installed will determine what types of animation formats you can choose from.
I.E., AVI or QT and whatever those would be under the avi, like DivX or what ever you like.
If you have the basic QT codec installed, (player) then just select that as your option.
Make your settings for it.
Save your path.
Render.
Play newly created QT animation :)
Anyway, now I need to reread through that thread and see which part it was that got you up and running?
Unless of course you can just point me to a link to speed things up?
And I'm sure glad for ya, cuz I know how much fun that is to finally get it all working :)
I haven't done any farming in eons.
Time to get back to the plow, heh, heh.............md :)
