Hi Steve
no problem, this is only an openGL thing, as soon as you render
your column all will be fine!
Aletrnatively you coul make a cylindrical UV-map and openGL can show
this without problems. In either case the render will be as it should be!

Hi folks, I wonder if somebody can help me.
I have this odd issue with wrapping an image map around a column.
Basically I have created an image map that is precisely (to a pixel) the
correct dimensions to wrap around a cylinder of 20m high and 2m in radius.
However when I wrap it around with a 'width wrap amount' of 1 I get a
repeat of the whole map in a very small part of the cylinder.
Tricky to explain, so I have uploaded an image showing he problem in
modeler with the surface settings.

If it helps there is also a low-res version of the image map used here:

I don't understand why the whole map is repeated again in the small space
which is where the join is.
I would really appreciate some help.
Many thanks
Steve(hoping he isn't being ultra-dense)R
