So, if I bought a dual core AMD 64 chip and ran XP - I would need to run the 32bit version of LW but I could split the rendering across 2 CPUs in the dual core chip as you would normally do on a dual processor machine?

I am fairly certain this is right - but just would like to be sure of my facts (so to speak) before I jump for a new machine.
