Some help is needed on plotting a 3d trajectory (random walk) with
splot. I get an error message concerning pm3d.
And in what version of gnuplot, exactly, did you observe this?
Well, do you think it can be fixed in future versions?
However, when I replot a second such 3d trajectory onto the same plot,
no warning appears and rotation works fine.
I read 'help pm3d' and the FAQ but could not figure out what's wrong.
Nothing's strictly wrong. That's why you got a warning and a plot,
instead of an error and no plot. The mechanism designed to avoid showing
that message more than once obviously doesn't cover mouse rotations.
I still don't understand what the message tells me. Can you explain it?
And why it disappears after a replot '' ??
.
