I'm on dial-up, just like you; so I got them to burn it for me when I
ordered it, another $15, it's a pittance ... I'm doing a movie so I stepped
up to Carrara 6 now. I can't wait for it to come in the mail. If you need
to consult the help, I know they've put an Adobe Help file it it. If you
want print version of it, you can order it from DAZ, when it comes out; no
problem or you can get Kinkos to print it for you.
I know they've got an update in a 3 months to bury all bugs they have
discovered and I'll call them up and get them to burn it for me in case I
cant get it from the customer order form. No problem, but I want to use it
for my movie. I'm NOT GOING to delete Carrara 5.1!!! until 6 months passed
and I know they've taken out all the bugs ought of it.
I'm using for my movie (I want to do everything by MYSELF):
Music Looping - ACID Pro 6
Video Editing Bay - Vegas 8
DVD Assemblage - Architect 4.5
Animation/Rendering - Carrara 5.1
Modeling - Hexagon 2.2
Modeling/Rendering - ZBrush 3.1
ACID, Vegas and Architect is the "Sonic Foundry's" software. They were
taken over by Sony but they're in the same place that before the Sony's
merger, in Madison. Sonic Foundry was the chaftwork of the music, video etc
portion of the University of Wisconsin.
