Copying a transparent 32 bit bitmap to the clipboard (on Windows)

Hi All,


I have a transparent background bitmap. If I save it to PNG or TIF I
get it perfect with the transparent areas transparent, but when I copy
it on the clipboard as a BMP or as a DIB and I paste it inside
Photoshop I get the transparent areas gray or black.

Where is the trick?
