What happened to all the freeware "dincType" fonts?

Does anyone know what the current story is with freeware dincType
fonts? I only can find about <100 of the fonts listed below.
Apparently they were sold to snapfonts and went commercial, but I
believe snapfonts is now out of business -- so does that mean they are
back to freeware?

Most of the recent ones are available to download here (http://
www.girlswhowearglasses.com) , but it's as if all the older ones have
vanished.
