I do understand - but I come from a linux/gnu/open source background
where people and companies freely exchange ideas/apps etc. That was why
I asked. (Yes I am aware that not all linux apps are free also).

Ok, thanks for the pointers. I have been a usenet user for, I dunno, 7
years or something - I have never been to a binaries group :-) First
time for everything maybe?

I don't mind "forking over a few bucks" for applications I use all the
time - Windows, Office, AutoCAD, games etc - but over AU$200 for a font
that I want to use for a one-off logo replication? I think the logo
might need to change to a standard font ;-)
