Yep, but the fact that I can use wildcards in :find means that there is a possibility of multiple results anyways.
i.e. :2find file*.txt will open the second file mathcing file*.txt.

I'm not sure -- but remember: on Unix/Linux, the filenames are case-sensitive on most filesystems.
