I'm using vim7 alpha (build 157). As Explorer is being replaced by
Netrw in version 7, you acces to an ftp simply with e command:
:e ftp://www.foobar.com//home/user/.bashrc
Vim will prompt you for a username and password
You can try it with :e ftp://ftp.vim.org/pub/vim/unstable/snapshot/
user Anonymous
It also should work with scp, and webdav (I've never got the webdav one
to work)
