I don't think that will do it. Recall that EVERY real sequence
(symmetrical or not) can be decomposed into an even-symmetric part and
an odd-symmetric part, both of which are zero phase.

The exceptional case seems to be when one part of the odd-symmetric
sequence exactly cancels the corresponding part of the even-symmetric
sequence.
