Hi,
I have created a tutorial for the fourier series.
It is located atwww.fourier-series.com
It has audio lectures and interactive flash programs that let you see
how the fourier series actually works.
PS.
If you want to cut to the chase, go staight to this page, in order to
see the defining user interactive program for the tutorial.

If you wish to require JavaScript, tell user
I believe he's using Flash, thus your FlashPlayer appears
to be broken. Mine worked fine.
Well, actually it's both. I'm of a die hard minority who does not surf
with JavaScript enabled - view it as unnecessary security risk. When I
had glanced at the page's source, I noticed he was using JavaScript
without bothering to check if it was enabled. Taking a second look at
the page source I see he checks for FlashPlayer (which I've never
bothered to install). So he's inconsistent in checking for one but not
the other. Websites that don't bother checking are a personal pet peeve ;)- Hide quoted text -

Randy is correct. It is predominantly a flash site. However, a few
java script commands are needed to make it work correct.
Specifically, to close a window through flash requires a javascript
command and to propery load a flash file into IE requires a java
script file.
As you can tell, I am new to web stuff. I am not a programmer. I am
learning. I did this tutorial as a result of trying to learn about
DSP. I read (not all of) Smith's book and Lyon's book, both of which
are exceptional for different reasons. But I have determined that
these concepts can be illumated through user interactivity, so I set
out to learn flash last April. It is my goal to improve these
tutorials.
I have some flash files already created to illuminate complex
numbers and the Fourier Series using complex exponentials. But I
still need to do a lot of work before getting it up.
here is a preview of my SCONG file. I call it SCONG for : Special
Complex Number Generator.
