Hi Everybody,
I am working on removing 'White Gaussian Noise' from speech using
adaptive method. Since I don't have access to the reference noise and
the only thing at hand is speech+noise record, that's why it is a bit
tricky. Can anyone help me in this regard.
Many Thanks...

Do you know a company who employs DSP engineers?
Is it already listed at http://dsprelated.com/employers.php ?
The basic idea uses LMS. Search on W9GR & QST. This was a popular amateur
radio project in the early 1990s published in QST.
My previous company (Timewave) was inspired by this project and went on
to create a very popular line of DSP based noise filters for radio. We
used something a bit more sophisticated than the basic LMS algorithm, but
you can learn some of the basic ideas from the W9GR project.
The basic ideas are discussed in many DSP books on adaptive filtering. I
think the Widrow and Stearns book is more readable than the Haykin book.
There is now a Widrow - Haykin book that I haven't read.
There are also several books that address this topic more directly.
Two of the books are:
Acoustic Echo and Noise Control, A Practical Approach
Eberhard Hansler & Gerhard Schmidt
Acoustic Signal Processing for Telecommunication
Steven Gay & Jacob Benesty
