I would like to get straight lines (approximation of the random
curve) !! It is some sort of quantization where I have also average
it !!

Can anybody help ?

Probably, if you explain in more detail what you want to do and how it
is connected to quantization.

What does " !!" imply?

Hello Jerry,

I can't speak for the OP, but in math terms !! means double factorial.
For example n!! is the product of every other number up to and
including n starting from either 1 or 2 depending on whether or not n
is even or odd. I.e., 5!! means 1*3*5 and 10!! means 2*4*6*8*10

This shows up in some representations of Bessel function series among
others.
