Hallo, everyone
I have just decoded theTPSin DVB-T/H before and after the channel
equaqlizer.
The result by me shows,TPSDecoding before the channel eqalizer is
more robust as after the Channel Equalizer even by TU-6 or AWGN
channel.
Can somebody tell me the reason?
My Channel Equalizer works fine for the data tone.
thans a lot
jjyy
What isTPSand what is TU-6?
sorry. TPS means Transmission Parameter Signaling. It is defined in
the Standard ETSI300744.
TU-6 is the channel mode for typical urban situation with 6 Taps.
Can somebody tell me, shall I do the decoding of the TPS before the
channel equalizer?
there is a us patent :
http://www.google.de/patents?vid=USPAT7123669&id=4B17AAAAEBAJ&dq=dvbt+tps&jtp=1#PPA1-IA1,M1
they do it after the channel equalizer and even with the channel state
information to decode the TPS. Is that realy needed?
thanks for any answer !
