I have two suggestions:
one for which I'd expect no negative comments from the group
one which I'd expect ??? / HUMMM / might actually work ;)

First, take a one semester (or whatever standard short course length in India is) in formal "business English". Your initial contact with any potential employer is likely to be written. You get only *one* chance to make a *GOOD _FIRST_ IMPRESSION* . [ I'm assuming that essentially all engineering positions in India use English as a common language. There are several people in the group who can correct me as required. ]

A more controversial idea:
[ CAVEAT LECTOR: I started a BSEE 09/1961.
Haven't completed yet.
There is hope as I know
one who started a BA when over 60 and
had a classmate who started his BS at 70 ;]

Choose a DSP processor you like.
Find someone who knows both you and a rep for product line.
Have acquaintance write factual *not over hyped* letter of recommendation.
Send it and a letter explaining why you would be an asset to one of his customers. This requires some chutzpah [ Google it ;] , but might prove productive.

I once got an interview because CEO wanted to meet anyone who would claim AND support my employment history -- eclectic to say the least ;)
