DSP contractor position in Sydney, AU

Hello to everybody,

I apologize for getting off topic but it looks like this is the only place you can meet an experienced DSP engineer, the jobs forums are very generic and partially hopeless. I am deeply sorry.

We have a position for DSP contractor (6 months to 1 year contract) in Sydney, Australia. Rate neg.

The candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation and testing of Embedded software applications utilizing DSP technologies.
The applications will be developed on an existing voice communications platform.

This individual MUST have the following qualifications:
- Experience with the design, implementation and testing of TI DSP software (6-7 years experience).
- Strong knowledge of Matlab / Simulink, TI Code Composer, Digital Audio Processing Techniques and Digital Filtering.

Other qualifications that will be helpful:
- Knowledge of a version control systems
- Experience with software defined radios

Familiarity with some or all of the following: Sample Rate Conversion, Acoustic Echo Cancellation, VOIP Experience, RTP Voice Packet Processing, Dynamic Jitter Processing, Sequence Restoration Analog front ends, Voice Coders such as, g.711, g.729AB, g.723.1 Encryption Algorithms
