time-variant vs. time-invariant
linear vs. nonlinear
casual vs. acausal
???? vs. memoryless
what's the best word for this? what prefix means "having"? the
opposite of "sans"?
Maybe 'mnesic/amnesic' or 'mnemonic/amnemonic' could be used. Or, just
'memoryless/memoried'.
