Engineering job at Extreme Endeavors
==============================
You've probably never heard of Extreme Endeavors, but we are
responsible for designing electronic equipment for the harshest
environments on the planet. We are also a really cool place to work. I
don't know of any other engineering firm where one day you will be in
charge of designing a state-of-the-art embedded system and the next
you will be rappelling 180 feet down into a cave to install that
system or entering a burning building with firefighters to test
another system.
What we are
============
- A new type of research, development, and engineering firm with field
experience like no other
- A profitable small business located in Philippi, WV and the fastest
growing technology company in the state
- The industry leader in several small, but rapidly growing markets
Who we are
===========
- Founders from Carnegie Mellon University
- A management team including former Antarctica South Pole Station
manager
- A group of great engineers who love what they do
What we are doing
==================
- Designing next-generation turnout gear for firefighters that is
capable of monitoring their vital signs and environment and wirelessly
transmitting it to a safety officer outside the burn structure
- Building the most accurate subterranean monitoring system in the
world
- Creating embedded systems capable of operating in the harshest
environments on the planet for extended periods of time
What we are looking for
======================
