It seems like it might.
I wonder if the question were posed as:
"When using windowed Dirichlet Kernel interpolation, does it make sense to
talk about interpolation continuity?"
It seems that the periodic nature of this "sinc" would remove the
discontinuities otherwise evident in windowing infinitely long sincs.
After all, this is often what we're doing (or should be doing?).
