You can turn off dhcp on the wireless router then connect one of its lan
ports into the network, it will then work like a wireless AP. That or
just buy an access point - linksys etc do them.
A wireless access point is exactly what I need. Sometimes its a matter
of just knowing what to ask for.

I also tried doing this through Intel which was about as difficult to export and import the profile, but at least I figured out how to do it eventually and it is still not working, still giving me the same error message, "The settings saved on this computer for the network do not match the requirements of the network." ... That unique error message I am pursuing in the Linksys forums right now. ... I would look into the router settings, Wireless Security menu; depending on the setup, only listed MAC's might be allowed to connect. ...
