If DTI/PRI type of PRI card, then disable by going to the following loads
below and performing the associated commands:
LD 60
STAT [ insert loop (card) number here]. Examine the desired loop/card for
the associated D-Channel you need to disable. If you don't know which board
has the desired D-Channel then just type in STAT and press enter. then
examine the output of the command and look for the D-Channel and card you
need.
LD 96
DIS DCH [insert D-Channel Number here] This command will disable the
D-Channel for the board.
LD 60
DISL [ insert loop (card) number here] This will disable the DTI/PRI
card. But not the Clock controller daughterboard .
** If the DTI/PRI card has an associated Clock Controller daughterboard then
don't forget to swap the clock and disable the Clock Controller
daughterboard as well.
Commands to disable the Clock Controller daughterboard:
LD 60
SSCK [ insert cabinet number here ] Status for the Clock Controller
daughterboard. Usually Cabinet 0 but could be another.
Examine the output of the command. Choose either the secondary source,
or Free Run for the next command.
TRCK FRUN 0 This will set Cabinet 0 to Free Run.
DIS CC 0 This will disable the Clock Controller board for Cabinet 0.
SSCK [ insert cabinet number here ] Perform this command once more and
ensure the Clock Controller daughterboard for the cabinet is disabled.
After the above steps are completed and verified then you can safely remove
The DTI/PRI Card.
If TMDI type of PRI card, then disable by going to the following loads below

need.
LD 96

the TMDI card itself.
LD 96

card. But not the Clock Controller daughterboard.
** If the TMDI Card has an associated Clock Controller daughterboard then
don't forget to swap the clock and disable the Clock Controller
daughterboard as well.
Commands to disable the Clock Controller daughterboard:
LD 60
SSCK [ insert cabinet number here ] Status for the Clock Controller
Usually Cabinet 0 but could be another.
Examine the output of the command. Choose either the secondary source,

Hope This helps.
Better yet read and understand the document "Communication Server 1000M and
Meridian 1, Small System Maintenance" chapter on "Replacing equipment".
There are procedures on how to perform the actions above. Other chapters as
well on "Fault Clearing".

And, if he's got a TMDI, he'll need to kill MSDL x
Also, do not re-enable the DCH. If you enable the loop, it should bring up
the DCH automatically.
