Option 11C / TAPI Guru - advice needed.....


Hi Folks,

I'm chasing background info Nortel's TAPI integration with CCT 5.0. In
particular, I'm looking for details on the 'ELAN' mechanism (fancy name
for a dedicated TCP/IP Ethernet segment?) and the AML Proprietary
protocol that it carries.

I work in a financial institution with a very paranoid security group.
I'm trying to understand this mechanism well enough to explain why
putting a firewall between the Switch and the CCT server is probably a
bad plan :)

Much appreciate any advice, thoughts, links to technical documentation
(I've got a fair bit of the Nortel CCT documentation).
