resolution exception works infrequently
I have a problem resolving a specific host using CNR version 6.1.4.2.
I have created a
resolution exception on both my secondary servers, 112 and 113 that
points to two
other DNS servers in Luxembourg. There are no resolution exceptions on
my primary DNS
server. The two DNS servers that I point to in my resolution exception
settings on
both 112 and 113 are able to resolve the address correctly. The
address I am looking
to resolve is od4bi.goodyear.de and sometimes it will resolve
correctly on 112 but
never on 113. The resolution exception I added is for goodyear.de and
if I use
anything else but od4bi as the hostname it attempts to resolve it
using the expected
procedures. It seems to be only happening with this particular host.
If anyone has any
suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it.
John
