In order to use SSH you must have a version of IOS that supports it.

If the following does not work, then post the putput of show version



! configure SSH server on router

config t

hostname <your router name>

ip domain-name <some domain name here - can be fictious>

crypto key generate rsa

ip ssh time-out 60

ip ssh authentication-retries 2

end


wri mem



show ip ssh

Well, I already configured ssh on the router and the box is accessable from
within the LAN. My issue is, that I cannot access the box from the WAN-Side.
Any clue?
