My external interface Ethernet0 is plugged in to the Router. The next
port over is Ethernet1 and is not plugged in. Then there are 4 ports
together that look like a switch at the other end. I have my servers
plugged into two of those ports. which port is intf2??
strange because servers get a signal and link but no communication
beyond that...

First of all, your Pix is only recognizing 3 interfaces based on your config
above. Means only one thing, you have a 515R, it only supports 3
interfaces.
As you have it layed out above:
Eth6, Eth5, Eth4, Eth3........Eth1......Eth0
You do not see 6,5 and 4 in the config because you are not licensed for
those interface. They are physical interfaces, not switch ports as you have

I didn't realize interfaces needed to be licensed. Thanks I will look
