No DHCP ststs on 2600

My 2600 router is configured as a DHCP server - it is allocating
addresses as expected but:

Router#show dhcp lease
Router#show dhcp server
DHCP server: ANY (255.255.255.255)
Leases: 0
Offers: 0 Requests: 0 Acks: 0 Naks: 0
Declines: 0 Releases: 0 Bad: 0
Any ideas why I'm not seeing any details?
